Diff'rent Strokes

This show came out when I was born in 1978. Willis and Arnold's mom's dying wish is for Mr. Drummond raise the two boys. Willis and Arnold grew up in the ghetto of Harlem, NY in a single parent home. Mr. Drummond took them out of the hood and they stayed in a nice home 🏡 in New Jersey with Mr. Drummond and Mr. Drummond's daughter Kimberly.  Arnold and Willis lived a life of luxury but never forgot where they came from. I remember watching this show when I was really little. There were lessons that the boys learned on the show when they made both good and bad decisions.

Gidget

I wasn't born when this show first aired in 1965-1966. However, I did grow up watching the reruns of Gidget when I saw it on WTXX channel 20. Gidget would always keep a diary of her crushes 🥰. She and her besties enjoyed talking girl talk. She was daddy's little girl. What I liked most was when Gidget and her friends would go surfing on the beach. ⛱️ I'm curious how many girls kept a diary like that when they were in junior high and high school growing up? Anyway Sally Field perfected Gidget on the show.

Small Wonder

I remember when this show aired on Fox. It came on I believe in the Saturday or Sunday lineup with 9 to 5 early evening. This brings back memories. Jamie was an only child and wished he had a little sister. His dad built a robot and programs it to have feelings and have special non-human talents. Vicki the robot made the show a hit the 4 years it was on TV. Imagine a robot that is playing baseball ⚾ for your team who could hit it out of the park without a sweat 😅 or whose arms can stretch out to catch the baseball to prevent the other team from getting a home run. Vicki was funny 🤣 as well. This show was a lot of laughs back in the 80's.
